In addition to the other comments:

Re: `teqc +C2 -O.obs "L1 L2 C1 P2" Filename.08o > filenamen.08o`

As of 8 June 2007, the option +C2 only has an effect of adding
C2 to the intended default observable list of the few formats
that might have it (e.g. Trimble .dat and stream formats, Septentrio SBF,
Leica MDB, and Topcon TPS/Javad JPS) -- assuming, like Mike said,
that the receiver is capable of tracking L2C and that L2C tracking
has been enabled.  +C2 has no effect of modifying the obs list
when using teqc as a RINEX-to-RINEX filter, as above.

But let's suppose you were using +C2 to translate Leica MDB from a
GRX1200 and the L2C tracking had been enabled on the receiver,
etc. so you are expecting to get out C2 (== RINEX 2-char identifier
for L2C code pseudorange), and you did:

teqc +C2 -O.obs "L1 L2 C1 P2" Filename.mdb > Filename.08o

... you would just get out L1 L2 C1 and P2 because the -O.obs
option -- with your specified obs list -- takes priority over the
default obs list for Leica MDB (+C2 is ignored).  To get C2,
do either:

teqc +C2 Filename.mdb > Filename.08o
(default obs list for MDB with C2 included)

or

teqc +C2 -O.obs "L1 L2 C1 P2 C2" Filename.mdb > Filename.08o
(you are specifying the intended obs list be L2 L2 C1 P2 C2)
