That would probably be the cleanest and also compatible with what Spider
is already doing. Frank: any thoughts?

Alright, Mike, that settles the matter. :) Just to be clear, you want
the
format the same as Spider presents it:
C: "%.2f/%.3f"
i.e. no whitespace around '/'?
