All,

The latest development version (21 Oct 2010) of teqc is on-line:
http://facility.unavco.org/software/teqc/teqc.html#executables
As usual, save a copy of your current executable in case there
is some unexpected problem with the new executable.

The main fixes and changes since 17 Mar 2010 are given in detail here:
http://facility.unavco.org/software/teqc/log.htm
but here's a brief summary:

* ironing out all known problems for reading Trimble RT27 .dat
record 27 (stream 0x57-6), esp. for NetR9 .t02 converted to .tgd,
and including GIOVE data extraction

* correct extraction of GPS L5 in Septentrio Binary Format

* in qc output, the earlier new 'Missed obs' line is now
relabeled as 'Masked obs' -- which is a more obvious label

* filtering out of invalid (extreme-range?) phase and pseudorange
values from Ashtech R-file record 23

* detection of new capabilities in Ashtech B-file -- teqc will
terminate with a message when these are detected (adding correct
translation for these receiver capabilities, like GPS L2C data,
could not be added in time for this release)

* correction to receiver time tag when decoding legacy Leica DS format

* lot of other little odds and ends

-------------

One set of executables that are built but not generally made available
are those compiled with gcc on Solaris (Sparc and x86). (The released
builds for Solaris use Sun's native compilers.) I do these to find yet
more fuzz in the code, but generally we don't use gcc-compiled executables
on Solaris here at UNAVCO -- we find they are slower than the Sun-compiled
builds. But if any one is interested, let me know.

cheers,
--lou
