This week's tip: the '+qcq' option

An extremely short (but helpful) tip this week, I promise! Since 2005 Dec 15,
there has existed a '+qcq' (= "qc quick") option. The idea was to encapsulate
several qc commands into one command line option.

Prior to 2013 Nov 13, '+qcq' would have been equivalent to:

'+qc -rep[ort] -plot' = thus doing a qc, but suppressing the report file creation
with '-rep' and suppressing the compact ASCII plot file creation with '-plot'.

From 2013 Nov 13 onward, '+qcq' has been equivalent to:

'+qc -rep[ort]' = thus still doing a qc and suppressing the report file creation,
but since 2013 Nov 13 '-plot' has been the default anyway.

So if you want to qc RINEX, you may only want to do '+qcq' instead of '+qc':
'+qcq' only dumps out the qc "short report" to stdout, whereas '+qc' does
that as well as creating the qc full report (short + long report) as a file.
For either of these, if you want the compact3 ASCII files, also include '+plot'.

Unless I need to see the long report of the qc (i.e. all the stuff following the
qc "SUM" line) , I usually just qc the data with '+qcq', redirecting this (stdout)
into a file, if desired, or piped to `more` or `less`. Often it's all I need to
evaluate a dataset. Give it a try.

Happy teqc-ing!

cheers,
