ANNOUNCE: More details on the upcoming changes on the UNAVCO ftp server

The planned changes in data location for RINEX data on ftp://data-out.unavco.org 
will take place on July 5, 2005. There may be one or two brief outages as the 
changes take effect.

There will be a transition period from July 5, 2005 to September 2, 2005 during 
which unix-compressed obs and nav files and hatanaka/unix compressed obs files 
will be available in their original location (pub/rinex/<year>/<doy>/) as well 
as the new locations (/pub/rinex/[obs|nav]/<year>/<doy>/). Met and qc files
will be available only in the new locations (/pub/rinex/[met|qc]/<year>/<doy>/).

The June 23 message is hereby amended such that there will be a transition 
period from July 5, 2005 to September 2, 2005 for the locations of PBO RINEX 
data. During this transition period, PBO obs and nav data will be available in 3 
places:
(1) /pub/PBO_rinex/<year>/<doy>/
(2) /pub/rinex/<year>/<doy>/
(3) /pub/rinex/[obs|nav]/<year>/<doy>/
At the end of the transition period, locations (1) and (2) will go away.

Please adjust your pickup procedure as soon as possible after July 5.
