The UNAVCO FTP Retirement Date is September 1, 2022

Dear UNAVCO Community,

This is a reminder that access to the GAGE facility data archive file
system is transitioning from FTP to HTTPS
<>. The
new HTTPS data file server has been operational since June 1, 2020 and the FTP
server shutdown date is scheduled for *September 1, 2022*. During this
transition period both FTP and HTTPS are supported.

Please note that ongoing changes in best practice cybersecurity
implementation may make FTP unusable to you or your institution before this
date. Most major browsers and operating systems have already removed
pre-installed support for FTP. UNAVCO highly recommends that you make these
changes as quickly as possible to avoid any disruptions.

Please start using it at your earliest convenience via a web browser and
update your data access scripts to use it via cURL, Wget, or other scripts,

Please note the new HTTPS server will have a new file organization in order
to accommodate more instrument types' data, the paths to data will now
start with the instrument type, e.g., /gnss, at the root level. Paths will
change from:
