[unav_all] GAMIT/GLOBK workshop

On March 17th and 18th, Tom Herring and Bob King of MIT are
planning to offer a UNAVCO-sponsored workshop on GPS data analysis 
using the GAMIT/GLOBK software.  The workshop will be hosted by 
the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Geodetic 
Science and the Department of Geological Sciences at Ohio State 
University in Columbus and will cover the following topics:
Thursday 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm 

 Using sh_gamit for automatic processing.
 Modeling tropospheric effects.
 Ambiguity resolution.
 Recovering precipitable water from GPS observations.
 Approaches to data weighting and error analysis.
 Realizing consistent and tectonically useful reference frames.   
Friday  8:30 am - noon  

 Estimating co- and post-seismic motion.
 Effect of satellite and receiving antenna phase center variations.
 GMT plotting scripts for repeatabilities and velocities.
 Interactive viewing/editing phase data with CVIEW.
 Interactive viewing/editing of position time series with TSVIEW.
 Interactive viewing/editing of velocity fields with VELVIEW.
 Kinematic positioning 
The format will be lecture and demonstration, but participants
are encouraged to bring laptops and their own data sets for 
individual assistance.  

There is no cost for the workshop but participants are expected to
cover their own travel and lodging expenses.  To register or obtain
