Seismological Staff Scientist/Instrumentation Specialist: The IRIS  
PASSCAL Instrument Center (www.passcal.nmt.edu) at New Mexico Tech is  
seeking applicants to fill the position of Instrumentation  
Specialist. Responsibilities include quality assurance testing of  
broadband and intermediate period seismometers, developing test  
procedures and archiving of test data in support of efforts for the  
Array Operations Facility at PASSCAL.

A B.S. in Science or Engineering or 3 years relevant experience, and  
experience in seismology and time series analysis is desired.  
Experience with field data-collection systems, scripting languages,  
and seismological fieldwork are desirable.
