Dear Colleagues --
It would appear that many of you are waiting until the last minute to
suggest a session for the Spring AGU Joint Assembly meeting that will
take place in Ft. Lauderdale 27-30 May, 2008. However, time is
running out.
The original deadline for these submissions is October 31. I've just
received word, however, that the abstract deadline will likely be
extended through the weekend. So there is time for you to contact a
colleague or two and get a session proposal together. It really just
takes a few minutes. Use the following URL to suggest a session:
http://www.agu.org/meetings/ja08/program.html
Come and enjoy the science and sunshine in Ft. Lauderdale this Spring!
Help us present an exciting program by suggesting a session that
highlights your latest, most exciting results.
Cheers,
-Bill Hammond

Subject: [unav_all] Spring AGU Meeting Session Proposals
Dear Colleagues --
Now is the time to suggest sessions for the 2008 Joint Assembly AGU
meeting that will take place 27-30 May in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Please help make the Geodesy section of the meeting a success by
suggesting a session before the deadline of October 31st. Use the
following URL to suggest a session:
http://www.agu.org/meetings/ja08/program.html
Please also note that the Joint Assembly this year has been given the
theme "A meeting of the Americas" to promote cooperative efforts among
AGU and other scientific societies in the Americas. For a list of
sponsoring societies see: http://www.agu.org/meetings/ja08/
Sessions that help to develop this theme are particularly encouraged.
Cheers,
-Bill Hammond
