Dear GIPSY Users,

We will have a GIPSY User Group Meeting/Class:

Date:     Sunday December 14, 2008
Time:     2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Location: San Francisco, CA (meeting room will be announced at a later date)

This is the Sunday before the Fall AGU meeting in San Francisco, CA.

This meeting will encompass both a report on the status of the GIPSY
software and orbit products, and a class for basic precise point positioning
with GIPSY.

The preliminary agenda for this meeting is as follows:

1) Status Report
  a. Reprocessing of JPL's orbit and clocks products.
  b. GIPSY 5.1 - Features, status and expected release date
  c. Open Discussion

2) GIPSY Class
  a. Static point positioning with gd2p.pl
  b. Kinematic point positioning with gd2p.pl
  c. Question/Answer Session

We welcome suggestions for other topics that you might like to be
specifically addressed in (1) or (2) above. We will compile responses and
address those topics that have been most requested.
