"geodesist" at the National Geodetic Survey. As a "standing register",

Due to the critical need for a variety of employee skills, I encourage
anyone (especially including recent undergraduate and graduate students) to
apply for this position.  The pay range varies depending on the job filled
and skills of the applicant.  As such, anyone with the following skills is
strongly encouraged to apply:


Land Surveying

Least Squares Adjustments

Gravimetric / Physical Geodesy research

Land / Airborne Gravimeter operation

GPS positioning / equipment operation and installation Orbit computation

Reference Frame Determination.


Possible duty stations include Silver Spring, Maryland and Boulder,
