UNAVCO Community,

I hope that you will be able to join us in Washington DC April 29th to  
celebrate completion of construction of the EarthScope Facility.

The EarthScope reception will recognize the contributions of the  
National Science Foundation and the other agencies and organizations  
that have made the first five years of EarthScope a resounding  
success.  State-of-art EarthScope equipment will be on display and  
recent EarthScope scientific discoveries will be highlighted.

When:   Wednesday, April 29, 2009
        5:30pm-8:00 pm

Where:  Top of the Hill Banquet & Conference Center
        Reserve Officers Association, 5th Floor
        One Constitution Avenue, NE
        Washington, D.C. 20002

RSVP:   By Friday, Aprl 24 to ESevent at iris.edu with name and
        number of guests (preferred, not required)

A symposium to present EarthScope science will be held at the Top of  
the Hill earlier that afternoon.  For more information on the
