[unav_all] Science Symposium before the EarthScope Reception

UNAVCO Community,

We are delighted that many of you will join us in Washington DC April  
29th to celebrate completion of construction of the EarthScope Facility.

An EarthScope science symposium will lead off at the Top of the Hill  
activities, from 3:00-5:30 p.m., followed by a reception at the same  

Speakers and topics at the symposium will include:

Thorne Lay - Overview of EarthScope science
Mark Zoback - EarthScope fault zone science and discovery
Lucy Flesch - EarthScope geodetic science and discovery speaker
Matt Fouch - EarthScope seismology and MT science and discovery NSF

The reception will begin at 5:30 and will recognize the contributions  
of the National Science Foundation and the other agencies and  
organizations that have made the first five years of EarthScope a  
resounding success.  State-of-art EarthScope equipment will be on  
display and recent EarthScope scientific discoveries will be
