Researchers planning to include the use of UNAVCO resources in proposals 
under the current National Science Foundation (NSF) solicitations are 
encouraged to contact UNAVCO no later than Wednesday, 20 October 2010.  
For further information and to request proposal assistance from UNAVCO,

NSF Arctic Research Opportunities (ARO) Solicitation NSF 10-597 has a 
deadline of Wednesday, 10 November 2010. Further information on the 
soliciation is available at:

UNAVCO will submit a letter of support and associated budget (as 
required) for inclusion in researcher proposals. Assistance is available 
for technical planning and budgeting of engineering and equipment 
support requirements.

Available support includes:
    - A range of GPS equipment including permanent, continuous, 
campaign, and kinematic GPS systems;
    - Remote communication and power systems hardware; and
    - Ground-based LiDAR (Terrestrial Laser Scanning) instruments.
