GNS Science (New Zealand) has a vacancy for a Geodetic Processing
Specialist. This position oversees the management of the data processing
of geodetic information collected by the GeoNet (http://www.geonet.org.nz)
and PositioNZ (Land Information New Zealand -
http://apps.linz.govt.nz/positionz/) projects.

There are now more than 160 permanent GNSS stations in New Zealand, with
many reporting in real time. The GeoNet project has a mandate to make its
information available in a useful form for end-users. In order to achieve
this, we are looking for a candidate with an excellent background in
geodesy and geodetic data processing who can oversee the current
operations, identify the deficiencies, research and trial new techniques,
and maintain a robust processing system. A prime requirement will be
training and mentoring of other staff to support the operations. This
position is also responsible for supporting the current and future
real-time GNSS services based on the GeoNet and PositioNZ network data.

The job is located at Lower Hutt near Wellington, New Zealand. A full job
description and application materials can be found at:
