Dear Colleagues;

Registration and submission of abstracts for the 2011 EarthScope
National Meeting is now open. The meeting will be held on May 18-20
at the AT&T Conference Center by the University of Texas at Austin,
with an icebreaker hosted by the UT Jackson School of Geosciences on
the evening of May 17. Early Bird registration fee is $150 (through
March 31); registration deadline is April 19.

Many of the oral presentations in the five plenary sessions will be
selected from among the submitted abstracts. The deadline for
abstracts to be considered for oral presentations is March 31. Poster
sessions will also be held each afternoon.

A new feature this year will be short, informal tutorial lectures
(EarthScope Cafés) to help foster interdisciplinary understanding.
