STRUCTURAL GEOLOGY / ACTIVE TECTONICS (DIVISION OF EARTH SCIENCES)

 

The Division of Earth Sciences at Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Structural
Geology/Active Tectonics. Candidates should have an exceptional capacity to
characterize and document active fault systems using a variety of
techniques. Specific areas of interest include (but are not limited to) 3D
structural interpretation and restoration, studies of active faults for
earthquake hazards assessment, and the relation of large earthquakes to
crustal deformation. 

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and
build an extraordinary research program. The person holding this position
will play an important role in the expansion of the Division of Earth
Sciences and the Earth Observatory of Singapore.
