The white paper resulting from the October meeting on Fostering 
Interactions Between the Geosciences and Mathematics, Statistics, and 
Computer Science, with much additional input from many people in various 
disciplines

is now available on line at

that also contains the presentations and a link to YouTube versions.

The white paper makes the case for a deeper and long-term dialogue and
interaction between the geoscience community and the mathematical,
statistical and computer science communities. The challenge is now to
think about the best way to proceed.
