Dear Colleagues,

We would like to call your attention to the following special session
at the 2013 SSA meeting (17-19 April 2013). We encourage your
contribution and participation. Abstract submission deadline is
10 January 2013.

Earthquake Source Physics
The session welcomes studies of the mechanics of earthquakes, from
interseismic loading to earthquake nucleation, dynamic rupture
propagation and arrest, and post-seismic relaxation. Of particular
interest are studies that integrate fault constitutive laws
consistent with laboratory experiments into models that relate to the
full range of seismological, geodetic, and geologic observations.
