*USGS is seeking a Supervisory Geophysicist to manage the Southern 
California Seismic Network in Pasadena, CA*

Series/Grade GS - 1313A 12/13, Permanent - Full-Time
Salary Range $76,644 - $118,481

*_Major Duties_*

As a Supervisory Geophysicist within the Earthquake Science Center, some 
of your specific duties will include:

- Direct the planning of and supervise the operation of the Southern 
California Seismic Network which is responsible for monitoring 
earthquake activity, collecting data, and producing products.
- Supervise the operation of the network's physical infrastructure.
- Provide high-level technical direction and supervision in the 
operation of seismic data processing systems.
- Provide high-level technical direction and supervision for ongoing 
development of software systems.
- Supervise fellow Geophysicists and Information Technology Specialists.
