The Department of Geological Sciences at Central Washington University
invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor appointment
in geophysics, with an emphasis on tectonic geodesy. We are particularly
interested in candidates whose research focuses on numerical modeling of
continuous GPS time series and/or InSAR measurements to address
processes in crustal and lithospheric dynamics.The successful candidate
will work closely with faculty and staff within the CWU Geodesy Lab and
the Pacific Northwest Geodetic Array (PANGA), which receives high-rate
GPS measurements in real-time from over 400 continuous stations located
throughout the Cascadia subduction zone. A Ph.D. in Geophysics is
