Hello UNAVCO Community Members

We wanted to announce the start of an NSF-funded project to develop teaching modules that feature geodesy data applied to critical societal questions such as hazards, climate change, and water resource management for undergraduate courses.

The project, GETSI (GEodetic Tools for Societal Issues), is collaborative between UNAVCO (Meghan Miller, Beth Pratt-Sitaula), Mt San Antonio College (Becca Walker), Indiana University (Bruce Douglas). Over the course of the next two years GETSI will be developing four modules - two each for introductory and majors-level.

How can you get involved?
Webinar: Applying Geodesy Data to Societally Important Questions in Undergraduate Courses - January 10, 2014
UNAVCO Science Workshop 2014 - will include opportunity to give input to the project
