Dear Colleague,

The AGU Meeting of Americas will be held from May 14-17, 2013 in Cancún, Mexico
( http://moa.agu.org/2013/ ). The abstract submission website is now open and
accepting abstracts. The deadline for abstract submission is February 6th.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to session T06:
Solid Earth and Atmospheric Processes in the Caribbean in the Context of the
Continuously Operated Caribbean GPS Observational Network (COCONet).

The COCONet project is installing 60 cGPS+met stations in the Caribbean region to address
earthquake, volcanic, meteorological and tsunami hazards. Data generated from
this project is open to facilitate research opportunities and encourage international
collaborations. The session seeks contributions that delineate new research
opportunities using this new data, or supplemented from existing local networks,
and provide cutting edge advances in solid earth processes (tectonic, volcanic,
geological) and/or atmospheric processes (water vapor, hydrologial cycle, severe weather) within the COCONet footprint.

More information about the COCONet session can be found here:

Hope to see you in Cancun!

Alberto López-Venegas (UPRM)
Marino Protti (OVSICORI)
Dave Adams (UNAM)
Lyndon Brown (UWI-Mona)
