If you are feeling the absence of your biennial “Fringe” trip to Italy this year, please consider joining us at ICTP Trieste for a workshop (including training and conference) on:
"Synthetic Aperture Radar: A global solution to geological hazards"
2-6 September 2013
On days 4 and 5 of the workshop, we will provide InSAR training including a full day on the use of the Nest-DORIS software for creating interferograms, and a full day, led by Andy Hooper, on the use of the StaMPS software to extract ground displacements from time series of SAR acquisitions.
Days 1-3 will be a plenary conference, covering topics including:
- InSAR methodologies for monitoring ground deformation
- InSAR applications (tectonics, volcanic deformation, subsidence, landslides)
- The future of InSAR: a new era of satellite data.
