Postdoctoral research fellow in Antarctic glaciology and airborne geophysics at the Norwegian Polar Institute
Center for Ice, Climate and Ecosystems at the Norwegian Polar Institute invites applications for a postdoc position in Antarctic glaciology and airborne geophysics. The position is for a period of 2.5 years with a possible extension. The successful candidate will be a primary engine in a Norway-Denmark-UK effort to investigate Recovery Glacier basin in Antarctica. Main tasks are analysis and interpretations of airborne radar data to investigate topographic settings of the glacier and subglacial lakes, current subglacial hydraulic system, and possible non-steady features in the past and future.
