SELPER stands for The Society of Latin American Remote Sensing and
Geographical Information Systems Specialist.  SELPER  is a Society of
international character that is composed  of National Chapters from
different Latin American countries, and also chapters from countries
with  advanced remote sensing technology that are able to support the
development of the activities carried out by the Society.



One of the SELPER goals is to bring together professionals and institutions
that are engaged or interested in the research, development and application
of remote sensing and spatial information systems, seeking  cooperation
between the various sectors of this topic and the exchange of information,
and thus make the transfer of knowledge in a more effectively way.



Please join us in making plans to attend our *2014 INTERNATIONAL SELPER
 SYMPOSIUM*, to be held in *Medellin, Colombia, South America,* from September
29 to October 3, 2014



We want to highlight the importance that  geoinformation  has today in the
management and administration of geographic information, adopting policies
based on precise knowledge of the resources of our countries and their
relation to the environment that allows us to raise the standard of living
of our society.

May 31, 2014 - Deadline for submiting abstracts



June 30, 2014 - Abstract authors notified of acceptance

July 30, 2014 - Complete full papers due
