Dear UNAVCO All,
EarthScope is celebrating ten years of success and UNAVCO, along with a coalition of Earth science organizations (IRIS, SSA, AGU, AGI and GSA), cordially invites you to attend a symposium and reception on May 15 in Washington DC. Below is more information. Hope to see you in Washington in May.
Celebrating a Decade of Geoscience Accomplishments

Please join us for an EarthScope symposium and reception as we acknowledge and recognize the contributions of the National Science Foundation, its partners, and the numerous organizations and agencies throughout the government that have made the past ten years of EarthScope a resounding success.

If you are a scientist, policymaker or other information consumer whose work benefits from EarthScope data, this is an excellent opportunity to express your appreciation directly to the individuals and organizations that have helped EarthScope in ways both large and small.

The symposium will provide an overview of the scientific discoveries that EarthScope has achieved. The symposium will also include a panel discussion highlighting the broader impacts such as:

Policy Impacts
Societal Impacts
Education and Outreach Impacts
Student Impacts
State-of-the-art equipment will be on display throughout the afternoon and evening.
