I am writing to alert you to a Public Affairs session at the Fall AGU Meeting that may be of particular interest to the community.

The session is squeezed between the 1:40-2:40 pm Cryosphere Nye Lecture (James White on Abrupt Climate Change) and the 4:00-5:00 pm Geodesy Bowie Lecture (Jerry Mitrovica on Global Change Geodesy)

The Geodesy Section Reception and UNAVCO Business Meeting will follow the Bowie Lecture at a Meeting Hotel (scheduling confirmations are in process).
