Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite your contribution to the following GSA special session. The deadline for abstracts is August 11, nine days away!
T1. Bridging Two Continents: Active Intracontinental Tectonics in Asia and North America and the Associated Geohazards
Jing Liu, China Earthquake Administrtion
An Yin, UCLA
Mian Liu, University of Missouri

Intracontinental tectonics, exemplified by the diffuse crustal deformation in central Asia and the western U.S., and mid-continental earthquakes in North China and the eastern-central U.S., remains enigmatic. This session invites researchers from all disciplines to exchange data and ideas to better understand active intracontinental tectonics and associated geohazards.
