[unav_all] UNAVCO proposal support for Antarctic Research solicitation NSF 16-541

Dear UNAVCO Community,

A reminder that researchers planning to include the use of UNAVCO resources
in proposals submitted to the current NSF solicitation *NSF 16-541,
Antarctic Research*, deadline 16 May 2016, are encouraged to submit a
request for proposal support to UNAVCO no later than May 9th.  This will
allow sufficient time to attend to your request during this busy period.

To request proposal assistance from UNAVCO, please go to:
http://achaia.unavco.org/public/newproject/supportform.aspx   UNAVCO will
provide you with a letter of support and associated budget (as needed) for
inclusion in your proposal submissions.  Assistance is available for
technical planning as well as budgeting of engineering and equipment
support requirements.

 Available support includes:

-*A range of GPS instruments, including permanent, continuous, campaign,
and kinematic GPS systems.*

*-Remote communication and power systems infrastructure.*

*-Ground-based LiDAR (Terrestrial Laser Scanning).*

*-Engineering field support.*

*-Field planning for instrument use.*

Note: UNAVCO also provides PI assistance for *Broader Impacts* in NSF
proposals. Support ranges from advising on formulation of broader impacts
activities and budget to collaboration with UNAVCO activities including
RESESS student interns, short courses and science results dissemination via
social media.
