Sat Apr 1 15:10:10 MDT 2017
Two opportunities for training:
Short Course on GPS Data Processing and Analysis with GAMIT/GLOBK/TRACK
Instructors: Dr. Tom Herring, Dr. Mike Floyd, Dr. Bob King
Audience: students and researchers
Dates: 19-23 June 2017
Location: UNAVCO, Boulder, Colorado
This workshop will be divided into three parts to accommodate differing levels of experience and both static and kinematic applications. Monday's sessions will be a review of GAMIT and GLOBK commands and file structures, and useful Unix command-line sequences not incorporated into scripts. Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday will feature lectures on reference frame realization, error analysis, and efficient processing of both continuous and survey-model observations. Thursday and Friday will focus on kinematic measurements and GPS seismology, including real-time processing. Participants interested only in static measurements may wish to remain through Thursday for one-on-one tutoring in a parallel session.
Limited support is available for student participation. Students seeking support should submit an application for Financial Support found on the short course webpage.
