Dear Unavco community,

We will be holding a workshop on InSAR Meteorology at the University of Miami on March 1-2 2018. The aim is to bring together Meteorologists, Geodesists & InSAR engineers, and explore potential applications of the InSAR technique for Meteorology. The geodesist’s noise (radar travel delays due to variations in the water vapor content of the troposphere) is the atmospheric scientist’s signal. Current and upcoming SAR sensors (Sentinel-1 and NISAR<https://nisar.jpl.nasa.gov/>) have the potential to lead to a broader use of InSAR in atmospheric sciences. The workshop will feature key note lectures on the present status of InSAR Meteorology applications. For background information on the workshop and InSAR Meteorology please visit https://insarmeteorologymiami2018.org .

Deadline for abstract submission is January 8 2018.
