If you are attending the IAG-IASPEI meeting this week in Kobe, Japan, we encourage you to attend a panel discussion entitled The Promise and Challenges of Seismo-Geodesy for Earthquake and Tsunami Early Warning sponsored by the IUGG GeoRisk Commission. The panel discussion will be the final event of the Joint Symposium J04-7: Geohazards Early Warning Systems on Friday August 4th  from 2-3 PM in the International Conference Room (301). 

Panelists will be Jeffrey Freymueller (U. Alaska), Jianghui Geng (Wuhan U.), Diego Melgar (U. Calf. Berkeley), Gerald Bawden (NASA Hq.),  Yusaku Ohta (Tohoku U.), and John Rundle (U. Calif, Davis) moderated by John LaBrecque Vice-Chair of the IUGG GeoRisk Commission.
