The Geophysics Laboratory at the University of Luxembourg in
collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology
is seeking a highly motivated



*Doctoral candidate (PhD student) in the field of Geodesy and Geophysics*



The PhD student will be a member of the Geophysics Laboratory within the
Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication at the University of
Luxembourg as well as the Environmental Research and Innovation research
department at Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology. He/she will
work under the supervision of *Prof. Dr. Tonie van Dam*, her team, and
collaborators at the Luxembourg Institute for Science and Technology on
downscaling coarse resolution satellite gravity and GNSS data to better
understand the pre-conditions leading to flooding.



The Successful candidate should possess an MSc degree (or equivalent) in
geodesy, geophysics and/or physics or applied mathematics and have a solid
background in computing.
