A 2-year funded postdoc position at Michigan State University is available to work with Dr. Jeff Freymueller on glacial isostatic adjustment and the contribution of vertical land motion to sea level change. The project is funded as part of NASA’s Sea Level Change Team, and can begin in Fall 2018.
We will be working in collaboration with Dr. Wouter van der Wal at TU Delft to develop finite element models for GIA using 3D Earth structure. These models will be used to assess regional variations in sea level change, including uncertainties.
For more information, contact Dr. Jeff Freymueller, freymuel at msu.edu<mailto:freymuel at msu.edu>.
