The Continuously Operating Reference Stations Branch, Spatial Reference
System Division of the National Geodetic Survey/NOS/NOAA is looking to hire
a mid-career geodesist to work in our office in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national. The duties will include:

   - Process geodetic observation data acquired from Global Navigation
   Satellite System (GNSS) equipment on Continuously Operating Reference
   Stations (CORS) to obtain appropriately formatted digital records suitable
   for adjustment, analysis, and archiving.
   - Evaluate observations from Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
   equipment to estimate ground positions and velocities and maintain and
   update the CORS database.
   - Develop and maintain the system to detect the changes in equipment
   and/or any environmental aspects at the CORS sites and update the metadata.
   - Coordinate technology transfer by providing technical expertise and
   advice within the agency and to other Federal agencies in the area of
   satellite geodesy and data analysis.
