[unav_all] Scripps Postdoctoral Scholar Program: deadline October 12

Dear UNAVCO Community Members,

Please consider encouraging your late-stage/recently-graduated PhD students to apply to the 2019 Scripps Postdoctoral Program at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO).  The minimum stipend is $62,000/year, and the position comes with a one-time research allowance of $5,000.  Appointments are for 12 months, with an option for an additional 12 month term.

Candidates will have to identify a prospective SIO faculty mentor and solicit a letter of support.  A good resource for finding geodesy/geophysics faculty at SIO is https://igpp.ucsd.edu/research-igpp <https://igpp.ucsd.edu/research-igpp>.  The annual report (link at top of page) highlights recent research, organized by faculty member.
