One PhD position in volcano geodesy at the University of Alaska Fairbanks

Dear colleagues,

The volcanology group at the Geophysical Institute at the University of
Alaska Fairbanks is seeking applicants for one fully-funded PhD-level
graduate student for the NSF-PREEVENTS project: *Development and testing of
volcanic eruption models and forecasts through multi-disciplinary data
synthesis at Alaska volcanoes.*

We are seeking a PhD student with a strong background in math and physics
to analyze geodetic data (GPS, tilt, InSAR) from recent Alaska eruptions /
unrest and develop tools for multi-disciplinary data integration. More
