The Geophysics Laboratory at the University of Luxembourg is seeking a
highly motivated doctoral candidate in the field of geodesy and geophysics.
Apologies for any cross-postings.


The PhD student will be a member of the Geophysics Laboratory within the
Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of
Luxembourg. He/she will work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Olivier
Francis and his team to perform grazing angle GNSS-R altimetry. The
successful candidate will focus on grazing angle reflections of GNSS
signals off of ocean and sea ice surfaces for precise sea ice altimetry.
The Successful candidate should possess an MSc degree (or equivalent) in
geodesy, geophysics, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics,
or an equivalent education and have a solid background in computing.
