Dear UNAVCO community,

AGU is just around the corner! As usual, the Outstanding Student
Presentation Award (OSPA) program
<https://www.agu.org/Learn-and-Develop/Learn/Student-Competitions/OSPA>
needs volunteer judges! OSPA connects scientists like yourself, with
bright, young minds. It is the foremost way to interact with students at
Fall Meeting. This year, we have about 3500 student presenters in all
sessions, which is nearly double the participation in 2020! You can provide
them with valuable feedback regarding their presentation skills scientific
research. Student presenters are grateful to hear from scientists

in their field and eager to learn from you!

Responsibilities as an OSPA Judge include:
• Register as a judge by visiting the OSPA Homepage
<https://www.agu.org/Learn-and-Develop/Learn/Student-Competitions/OSPA> and
clicking on the “Volunteer” button.
• Sign up for at least three student presentations. Once logged in, search
by Section, Session, or even abstract keyword.
• Evaluate all presentations you signed up to judge. Presentations can be
viewed beginning 1 December.
• Submit scores for all presentations no later than Wednesday, 30 December
at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Thank you for your consideration and please contact ospa at agu.org with any
questions.

Sincerely,

2021 Geodesy Section OSPA Coordinators
