PhD opportunities in Geodesy/Earth deformation at University of Tasmania

Dear colleagues

I am searching for PhD candidates with a solid background in maths, physics, and/or geodesy interested in solving problems focused on Antarctica and/or solid Earth deformation. Please circulate this email to anyone who may be interested. Many of the projects are associated with the Australian Centre for Excellence in Antarctic Science (http://antarctic.org.au/) and will benefit from substantial training and networking opportunities across Australia.

Full scholarships are available for both international and domestic students on a competitive basis. For non-native English speakers an IELTS7.0 minimum is required by the University of Tasmania. It is a substantial advantage in the competitive scholarship process to have published in the peer reviewed literature or substantial relevant experience.
